I am graduating.

My warden has just informed me, so no, this is not a joke. Whatever you may think of my past misdeeds I have accounted for them now.

I have been granted a little time to say my goodbyes.

I appreciate the help that a select few have given me here. I'm sure that you know who you are.

I only mean that if you are here then the Admiral has deemed you deserving of a second chance. Which means, in theory, you can be released one day.

As you have said, people have done worse than yourself. They are not here because perhaps they are beyond redemption.

I believed all I did had a purpose too. Maybe you need to see things from a different perspective. Maybe what you did out of what you thought was necessity did a great deal of harm to others...
