Where is a doctor when you need them?

ADMIRAL & ALL INFIRMARY STAFF -

I am still awaiting replies to my requests. I will keep asking until I get some kind of answer.

[identity profile] doctor-j-crane.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
The Admiral appears to be ignoring me as well. Be persistent.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I will be.

[identity profile] bargemods.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Calling my name, does not a negotiation make. Not a taxi cab, you know.

[identity profile] doctor-j-crane.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, so you do exist. Imagine that. Managing to write a whole to sentences just to talk to little old me.

[identity profile] doctor-j-crane.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Astonishing. Coming down from his little cabin in the middle of nowhere to talk to the rest of us.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
It is rare but it does happen.
acid_rayne: (Annoyed)

[personal profile] acid_rayne 2010-06-27 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Dude. Don't piss off the one thing able to make our lives hell.

Seriously. Don't provoke it.

[identity profile] doctor-j-crane.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
I don't see how he can make it much worse. He already seems to be focused on making our lives a living hell.
acid_rayne: (Red)

[personal profile] acid_rayne 2010-06-27 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
He can make it worse.

Trust me.

[identity profile] doctor-j-crane.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
Did he do something to you?
acid_rayne: (Red)

[personal profile] acid_rayne 2010-06-27 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
He, she or it might or might not be trying to cut down the crash-landings and flood to a minimum - but they don't have to. Especially if enough of us sound like we need to be taught some kind of lesson.

[identity profile] doctor-j-crane.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
I don't appreciate you making assumptions about my character. Besides, the Admiral has made it abundantly clear that he just does what he pleases, with no regards for his 'guests'.
acid_rayne: (Finger)

And shortly before flooding occurs...

[personal profile] acid_rayne 2010-06-27 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
You're not exactly making it any less likely.

And if something happens, I'm not getting blamed for whoever decides to tear you a new asshole...

I full expect Crane blame afterwards. :D

[identity profile] doctor-j-crane.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
If something happens, it will be because that Admiral is a cruel man, rather then any reflection on my behaviour.

[identity profile] pleasesmirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
You don't listen to a thing I say, do you?

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
I take what is important. You are quite misguided in some of your thoughts - so much of it can be disregarded.

[identity profile] pleasesmirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe that's why you're being disregarded. Just a thought.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
My thought to heal people is misguided? Whatever sort of help it is I would still maintain that that is a good thing.

[identity profile] pleasesmirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
Your thought that people would, or should, trust you with that, without even a warden to vouch for you is insanely misguided.

It's even more misguided to think that the more you bleat on about it, the more likely they are to listen to you. I think the inverse is more likely.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Then that is their loss - but I still want an answer, even if it is a direct no.

Why anyone would think I'd wish random harm on people by pretending to offer healing... well, that is a very paranoid attitude. They've continued to trust people here that have proved themselves to be far less trustworthy than I have ever been.

So I want a direct no from someone on the medical staff or I want to be given a chance.

[identity profile] pleasesmirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 11:29 am (UTC)(link)
And why anyone would think a man who declares himself as untrustworthy is welcome in a place where people's lives are at stake baffles me entirely.

I hope they say no. If they don't, I might just find it in myself to take issue.

A little later

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 11:38 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you may have to take that issue with my new warden, when I get one. I have my answers and now I simply await new assignments to see if my next warden will be accommodating.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 11:45 am (UTC)(link)
Even if it really is none of your business? You may refuse to have magic used on you as a cure but others may be more open minded.

[identity profile] pleasesmirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I really doubt they will be.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 12:08 pm (UTC)(link)
You would be wrong. There are already people I've spoken to who want my help in this way, both recently and in the past months here.
requiresssacrifice: (Rex - Nice!)

[personal profile] requiresssacrifice 2010-06-27 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Somehow, I don't see this tactic working out for you.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
All I want is an answer.

And if they claim to be too busy - then if they had my help their time spent could be halved so they could heal more people faster.

Everybody would win.
requiresssacrifice: (Rex - listening)

[personal profile] requiresssacrifice 2010-06-27 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I hope you get your answer soon.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you.

I do hope to have to option to leave here one day.

To be honest we've been swamped.

Gellert isn't it?

Private

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Gellert Grindelwald.

I have noticed, which is why I have been offering my services. Repeatedly.

Private

[identity profile] jungledoctor.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
Jack Shephard.

The more hands the better, Gellert, but it really isn't my call. If anyone, Martha or Sveta would be the authority on the possible services you could provide.

[He for one doesn't believe in real magic or "complementary" medicine such as potion making]

You haven't gone unheard, but you're gonna have to be patient.

Patience was never my strong point.

But thank you for acknowledging my questions, at least.

[identity profile] jungledoctor.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
No problem, Gellert.

[identity profile] bargemods.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
You asked to be sent back home without yet having learnt what you're here to learn. While I admit that mind-control would make my existence a great deal easier, it's not up to me to decide the behaviour of others around you.

You then proceeded to take on the role of your own warden, as I'm sure you're aware that changes of status require one to request it on your behalf.

Really, if verbal insults and the like are all you have to worry about in a place like this, then you've got it relatively easy...

While I sympathise with your wardenless plight, I'm afraid you'll just have to wait for one to come along. Unless you want someone completely incompatible for the long haul? But that wouldn't really be fair on them, even if you're prepared to put up with it, would it?

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
I appreciate you gracing me with your words, Admiral. How are your children?

So, you are saying I have to have a warden to speak for me to truly be heard. Then I hope the good people of the Barge do not have to wait too long for that, so I can help them as soon as possible.

[Infirmary wardens and Gellert]

[identity profile] greatlightother.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Gellert, if you want to help, you're going to have to wait until you have a warden, or at least someone to oversee you who knows what's going on. I'm sorry, but, while I understand your desire to help, you have to realize that these are people's well being we have to take care of and I'm not willing to take any risks.

Now I would never make a decision without the rest of the infirmary staff's approval, so I'm saying now that my inclination is to wait until you have someone to monitor you, but if Jack, Martha, Denise or McCoy have any other thoughts on the matter, then we shall see.

[Infirmary wardens and Gellert]

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Very well. All I required for now was some kind of answer, so thank you.

Hopefully I will be assigned a warden very soon.

[Infirmary wardens and Gellert]

[identity profile] greatlightother.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I hope so, too. I'm glad that you are willing to help, at least.

[Infirmary wardens and Gellert]

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-06-27 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
I would like to prove all this distrust unfounded.
