List of demands requests.
Herr Dr. Hix,
I wish to have the following items:
An assortment of books from my world (ones that cannot be found in our current library here), including A History of Magic written by my great-aunt Bathilda Bagshot. And of course those Harry Potter books, as previously discussed - through Snape or otherwise if he becomes rudely stubborn again.
Some extra items of clothing: a respectable set of wizarding robes. Dark blue, if possible. Plus an appropriate casual Muggle outfit and formal Muggle suit.
Basic potions equipment and ingredients. These can be random and rare items would be nice but... I'd simply like to have something else to do around here and I do like to experiment a little. So any combinations would be fine for now.
Photographs: a second copy of the one the Admiral already granted me would be good. Plus an album of the other photographs my great-aunt took of myself and Albus in our youth. I know she took a fair few since the process was so new and she was overly excited about it.
I understand, dear Dr. Hix (and the Admiral, should he happen to read my note directly), that not all may be granted but I hope these items are not too much to ask for the moment.
Thanking you,
Gellert.

private - the admiral can read and grant at will.
Herr... oh, I get it. 'Germany' is Uberwald.Right, let's do this in order. Because not all of them are things I can immediately hand over. I'm not a request machine, I don't get things on demand.
Half the first request is being sorted, I believe. As for the other books, I think we can organise them soon enough, but I'd like you to read some non-magical literature first. Or non-magical history. Of your world.
The clothing is fair enough, you can have that.
Potions ingredients...
is that even magic. I will provide you with the equipment, yes. But as with all your magic, I am doing further reading and will reconsider the ingredients in a few days. In the mean time, it's good to see your interest in the moving pictures, but perhaps you could fill your time doing something with the non-magical population. The photographs, I will grant, for I do not see the point in witholding them.
Why do you need two of the same photograph?
I think they're all fair agreements, don't you?
Private.
I did intend to read some books from the library here - and some of my time, of course, will be filled working in there. Aziraphale has put me down for Friday and Saturday afternoon, starting today. Please do send me the books from Snape when you have them.
Thank you for the clothing, the photographs and the equipment - quite useless without the ingredients but I will await your decision on that. I can promise not to make anything deadly...
Does it matter why I need two of the same photograph?
I am open to suggestions about what else I should be doing with the non-magical population.
Private.
Good. Tell me if you read anything interesting.
You can promise? Look, I wouldn't trust myself if I said that. Sorry, no ingredients until I've done some research of my own. Which I am doing as we speak, but you understand, grasping another world's magic takes a little time.
It doesn't matter, I'm simply curious.
I simply suggest you get involved in anything which presents itself. I'm not sure if the Marquis needs anyone to help with his play now, but I'm certain to offer a hand, maybe you should too. Again, if he needs it.
Private.
As to the photograph it's no sinister mystery. The Admiral provided me with a lovely frame along with the first photograph but I wish to carry that photo with me, so it would be nice to have one left in the frame, while I keep the other one in my pockets. Merely an old man's silly nostalgia.
I will see how much I can get involved, as you say. It may be more pleasant if people didn't seem to be either curt of evasive. This is another reason I want whatever is written about me... Certain people seem to have a certain impression of me already, making their judgetments without even knowing me.
Re: Private.
Very well. There is no problem with that. I presume many inmates already have this kind of thing, but given the nature of your previous imprisonment... That, you can have.
I think most people are quite open and willing. I understand that people will have an impression about you, and that it's not entirely fair for them to judge you for that, but you can't dismiss them. You have to demonstrate you're a different man to that. You also have to face how history has judged you. Unfortunate, but you will have to face that.
Private.
Private.
Okay, you were secluded, but that's no reason to worry about talking to people because they've read about you. They won't talk to you if they're really that concerned.
Private.
I'll be sure to talk to as many people as possible here, no matter what their ability.
Re: Private.
Private.
I do know, much as I don't like that particular place.
Re: Private.
Private. [Gellert is stubborn when he wants something]
Private. [Hix can be equally stubborn]
I find it relatively more plausible that you're more concerned with reading the books to discover how you can excuse the truth. So you can conveniently write off what everyone thinks of you as lies; whether they are or they are not.
Private.
I wouldn't excuse the truth... but I would put it into my perspective.
Re: Private.
But if there is a truth you do not want everyone to know? A truth you would rather have everyone believe is a lie? What then? Dismiss history as worthless? Or accept that history is history. It's as much right as it is wrong.
Private.
Private.
It is unavoidable.
Private.
As long as it is the truth.
Private.
Private.
That sounds reasonable.
