[Once he'd got back to his room he'd hidden the box away. Now that many were away at the port it seemed to be a prime opportunity to have some privacy and so he set the box down on a table in his room and studied it curiously. He knew it was locked under some enchantments and he thought if only he had his magical abilities he could open it - his confidence was that great that he thought given the chance he could break Hix's spells, if he had the actual power to do so. At the moment he remained powerless in the magical sense so he only had his wits and intelligence to figure out the solution to this particular dilemma.]
[Well, if nothing else, he thought, it was something to occupy his mind with. He traced his fingers over the top of the box, frowning with thought.]

Date: 2010-06-23 04:43 am (UTC)I would guarantee that if I was at my full power I would be able to find some counter-spell to Hix's wards, no matter what he has done here. One thing I was always good at was figuring out magical solutions to such problems.

There is nobody here from my world who would be of any use. Wardens, both.
We can always bide our time and hope for a cerrtain type of flood.
Can you contact Hix now that he has left the Barge?
