So many senseless murders happen here. It makes one wonder if the inmates that can't be trusted have too much power or that their wardens don't have a close enough eye on them. Or both.

Really, now. What is the point in all this pointless violence toward others? Is it just frustration? Because obviously nobody manages to escape because of it and nobody stays dead. So personal grudges and attempts at chaos aside, where does it really get you?

Well, first of all, we can make some more potion. Second of all, how are you on donating blood? Third of all... well, do you know anything that might be useful?

As to your third, I'd suggest locking all the vampires away together so they can do no harm to others until this crisis is over.

Murder, really, isn't a resort at all.

Same process as before, and I know how to test them now, so it should be more efficient as a process.

And what purposes might it have?

Even if there were potentially less drastic moves that could be taken before hand to prevent it? Which might involve giving something up from the majority, but to prevent the locking away of a minority?

I'm afraid that I'm only familiar with the vampires of my world, who are generally not very pleasant. Which is to say, I haven't had many dealings with them.

I can only say what I would have suggested originally when you brought it up before - the blood replenishing potion.

Well, surely you're familiar enough with some of the vampires on board here, now. They're not exactly quiet.

Simply, they need blood correct? The potion can be used if they feed on people - or with a couple of adjustments that can be turned into a potion to create extra blood. Although it may not exactly be to the vampire's tastes.

Other possibilities? Well, they vary here, don't they? Some need it more than others. Some can wait longer for it. Some can have animal blood instead. Generally, from what I've heard, it takes a very long time for a vampire to starve - and even then they can easily be revived, so they may suffer for a time - some of them - but they won't die.

But most of us wouldn't suffer starvation when there was a potentially avaliable source... We'd go hungry, but not put up with it to the point of starvation.

So do you think asking them to suffer like that is alright? If it means the rest of us don't have to give up a pint of blood now and then?

You'd have a point if the person responsible for the murder had a warden. It sure would've been nice to come to a place where they had a system for interim wardens set up.

Directly before..? You mean the shooting of that inmate? [That's the first he can see about.] Ah, but you also mentioned one, didn't you? But I was also refering to the mass murders in the kitchen. It happens so often and generally there seems to be little real reason for it. Murder should always have a purpose.
